Once and for all lets put this to rest
We have been receiving a variety of emails lately for some reason in regards to the article "Troubles of shooting a killer ad" which is strange as we posted this a while ago.I would email these individuals however none left there information or used a real name. Lets get a few facts clear and bury this once and for all.
1)We did have consent from several key-holders who where also present during the shoot.
2)The photographer of the photo was an hour late as we where meeting there and then going to FDR, by that time it started raining so he other key holders suggested we shoot it there as he didn't have time to shoot it again that week.
2)We did donate money to the warehouse as well as left drinks etc.
3)We where 86ed by Scott without him even asking for an explanation he just left a nasty message and it was pretty clear he didn't want to hear our side of the story.He only found out after the Ad published, that's when he got pissed, but by then it was already done. In retrospect we should have asked him anyway but we where assured it was cool as long as nothing happened to the ramp and we where respectful and we where.
4)As for an apology, we are sorry that this all turned out the way it did it seems like a lot of people are bent out of shape for no real good reason other then we didn't go through the proper channels which we thought the people who let us in and assured us it was cool where. That was our mistake, and we have taken the blame for all of it although others who still skate there where involved but no need getting them banned to, just make the rules clearer to everyone who has access to the warehouse and problem solved.
So I guess the moral of this is instead of harboring ill will toward anyone just ask them what went down instead of assuming. We meant no disrespect and if we could do it all over we would have gone ahead and asked Scott instead of listening to people who he entrusted with keys to the warehouse. But that's a catch 22 as well because they are helping pay the rent there so some may take more liberties as they think they are entitled to but that's another issue that the "warehouse" guys need to sort amongst themselves. Have a great holiday season fellas and if you got an issue with us ever be adult enough to give me a call or send an email: Nims, Orso and Scott all have my information so feel free to step up and be heard.
