Memorial Day Tribute

I just wanted to post a little tribute for my Grandfather who was a fighter pilot ace in WWII.

This link is from an interview with him in 2003 and I must have heard it hundreds of times, but it never gets old and reminds me how amazing people can be when faced with adversity and how they can overcome crazy obstacles.

My Grandfather is a source of inspiration and strength who at nearly 88 yrs of age played tennis 3 times a week until relatively recently.

I just wanted to share one of his stories of his life with all of you so that you can know a little about the man that has been an inspiration to me all these years.

We all have stories like this one somewhere in our families, so this Memorial Day Weekend take time to honor those in your family who made a difference in yours and the lives of so many others!
