Shannon makes it to the finals and gets pic!

As some of you know our ladies rider and TM Shannon Sexton not only does her thing on a skateboard but on a snowboard as well!
Check out the photo she got (She is doing a Front side lip slide to 180 out on the Barrel obstacle with lots of snow kicked up!)
Shannon made it to the finals in this event and although didn't take top 3 she was definitely has the most exciting photo! Way to shred the gnar on snow Shannon!

ASR Jan 09

ASR Jan 09 was a shell of its former glory as it was one of the slowest and smallest shows in recent memory.

Some of the highlights was the Mega Mini Ramp demonstrations, 2) Highest Ollie Contests and by far my favorite the Jump Ramp contest that features such legends as Steve Cab, Hosoi, Sal Barbier, Kris Markovich, Chad Knight and a host of others.
Renee Renee was on the MC but through down some serious Jump Ramp skills before getting to "radical" and tweaking his ankle.

Performance Sk8 Europe brought me out for the show and we got some work done as well as ran into a lot of old friends and met some really cool new ones as well that we hope to work with in the near future. So although it was productive it will probably be the last ASR I attend for awhile. Pictures coming soon! HEre is a clip of the Jamp Ramp Comp!

Surf Expo Jan 09

Below is some footage from the Surf Expo in Florida. I must say this was the best time we ever had a Surf Expo! Although we didn't film as much as we would have liked or hit as many parks it was a good mix of skating and getting stuff done!
What I mean by this is that we had close to 30 new retailers interested in bringing us on board,

All of our guys represented well in the best trick / sculpture park either winning or coming in runner up in all the events.

Our guys and gal networking with other potential sponsors and getting in some filming with Fuel, hit up OSP, Vans and Mesh Skate Parks, getting fueled and talking a summer tour with DNA Energy, getting to all hang out and chill in the hot tub after long days of getting work done!

All in all a great trip can't wait for the next show!

I know its been a while since we last posted but we hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year!

Looking ahead we where slated for both Surf Expo and ASR to which you will see separate posting in this blog!

Thank you to all the shops that picked up One Skateboards this past season and to all those that we have worked with over the last few years!

2009 is shaping up to be a good year regardless of this economy thing and we are going to make the best of it as I am sure all of you are as well!
