Matt Henry goes HUGE!

Its a bird its a plane, no its Matt Henry!
This is from his skydiving adventure, not much to do about skateboarding but hey we all need a break to do other things once in a while!
Altough Matt took a break from skating on this day he is still representing properly, nicely done Matt:)
Plus there have been reports recently that he has been doing the LOVE Gap and who knows what crazyness he has planned for that gap, if you know Matt as we all do its going to be crazy! Stay tuned..................

Grind for Life 08

Another great tour down in Florida as Greg and AJ hit up the annual Grind for Life event in Cocoa Beach as well as hitting up several other parks while down in sunny Florida!

Grind for Life is an organization headed up by longtime skateboarder Mike Rogers who he himself is a 2 time cancer survivor and they raise money to help those with cancer. Every year AJ goes down and does Freestyle Demonstrations and clinics for the kids and this year Greg Pachell went down with him for the cause and turned some heads in the process bringing that FDR attitude and creative approach to perfectly smooth concrete!

The guys hit up:

Orlando Skate Park: Big Park, Outdoors with lights, smooth laid out concrete Florida style!

The Park in Melbourne: Fun Snake Run Birch Bowl, diverse street course, opened early!

Cocoa Beach: Fun bowl sections, outdoors with lights, nice smooth Freestyle area.

Paradise Fun Plex: Lots of potential, fun park needs a little TLC thou, both of them get wrecked there!

Eastwood Park: Brand New Park, definately going back, big birch bowl shaped like a Gold fish cracker!

Mr Cubanos: If you are in Cocoa Beach you have got to hit this place up, some of the best food you will have down there! The guys loved this place as Greg said in one word: Delicious!

The Chili Pepper Bar: Greg and AJ saw Agent Orange and the Downshifters played during the weekend of Grind for Life as well as got some grubbin on at the GFL Buffet. All in all a good place, Big Screen TV's with Protec Pool Party on them, the door girl and waitress were very nice and cute but the beer is a little pricey.

Motel 6: Had a great view of the shuttle launch and it was the only one available in town so it was good and DNA Energy paid for it so no complaints here! Thanks DNA for hooking it up!

Waffle House / Denny's / IHOP: Greg ate breakfast for almost every meal while down in Florida due to his Wawa withdraw, they really need to build one down there!

Thanks again to Mike Rogers and crew for having us come through and for all that they do! We will be back again next year!
