Reid Menzer Park Opening! Sept 6th

This park was built to celebrate the life of Reid Menzer and his love of skateboarding!
September 6th is the official opening of the Plaza and Flow section of the park.
If it was anything like last years groundbreaking it is going to a lot of fun and off the hook, so definitely make it down to York PA on this day for a great day of skating, music ,food and fun!
We will be there all day long keeping things rolling in the park as well as on the MC!

1st Annual Sk8tacular! September 13th

NEPA is having a Sk8tacular! What is a Sk8tacular you ask?!
Just the most awesomness grass roots collaborative event you have seen!

This event is to fund raiser for a much needed skate park(s) for the area and not only will the One Skateboard team be there in full effect but skaters from all over PA and beyond, ripping bands such as Murphy's Law, Mc Rad the Ray Grady's and more!, Red Bull and their Manny Mannia set up, food,adult beverages available (with ID), Art and anything and everything else!
How can you resist?! You can't so go! We will see you there!

Rock you like a Hurricane!

Recently AJ and Shannon where down in Florida and stopped by our good friends at Undercover Skate Shop in Ft Pierce.
As you can tell by the flier Undercover know what they are doing and was hosting a Game of SKATE and since our people where down there they included us in the festivities to help with the event and skate with the kids!
It was shaping up to be a great event and was already a lot of fun by the time the first signs of Tropical Storm Fay showed up. The rain lasted for about 30 minutes and then cleared up but left the area soaked so the official Game of SKATE was moved to a nearby parking garage and a reported fun time had by all!
AJ and Shannon got some skating with the kids and demoed a bit before the storm and was a good way to cool off from the Florida heat! Also during the week before Fay hit they also hit the new Skate Park in Ft Pierce which is a combination of a flow park and a plaza which we will be hitting up when we head back down to Florida in November for Grind for Life.

Summer Camp Memories

AJ and Shannon just got finished with 8 weeks of Skateboard Summer Camp at Julian Krinsky.

For 5 sessions each day they taught the kids the basics, built some new ramps, worked on individual skill sets and most importantly got the kids psyched on skateboarding! Whats better then that?!

G-Spot BBQ

Matt Henry, Brain Panebianco and AJ Kohn made it out and had some fun at this years G-Spot BBQ.
Although it rained most of the day some great skating went down in the pavilion area and everyone went home with something!
Brian threw down some of the smoothest tech tricks on the ledges and picnic table getting some new T's while Matt Henry held it down on the Hubba, noseblunted the ledge in traffic and made it through a few rounds on SKATE earning some new wheels and bearings. AJ got a lot of people nervous before the Game of SKATE but opted to do a little impromptu demo and for the kids and families as well as being quick with the towel drying those ramps in between rain showers!

Be on the look out for these guys but be warned their skating is known to cause unexplained hooting with mild bouts of hysteria.

Florida Demo Aug. 16th

This just in: " The East Coast of Florida will be experiencing a flury of Freestyle influenced skateboarding from Aug 15th-22nd as One Skateboard Co. AJ Kohn will be hitting up Undercover Skate Shop on Aug 16th.
No form of skating will be safe as the creative styling's will have you thinking outside of the box and questioning convention!
After the Undercover event AJ will be hitting up spots up and down Florida's coast so be on the look out and you may spot him!
You have been warned and remember skateboarding is fun so go out and get some!

1st at FDR Mini Ramp JAm

Greg has been tearing it up as of late with a 1st place at FDR Mini Ramp fund raiser to which he donated his winnings to help get that new bowl built!

The event was a little unorthodox in the way it went down but it seemed to work itself out.

It is always good to see everyone get together and throw down their own twist on things, good sessions all day long!

Big ups to Boyer for his first crack at an event, I am sure the next one will even be better!
