Greg Pachell-Warp Tour/Osiris/Couch Tour/Paines Park

Greg has been hitting up the contests and demo circuits like crazy lately!
At the Philadelphia stop Red Bull Mini Ramp event he got picked up by Osiris Shoes then followed that up skating with some of Osiris guys at FDR where Greg shreds the gnar!

He went on to hit up the Couch Tour and although got some static from the MC/Judge initially he went on to show the crowd what creative / original skateboarding is all about and the kids where psyched and thats what it is about!

Then yesterday I call him and he is at the Maple Shade NJ Skate Park skating in the Warp Tour qualifier to which he took 1st in the Street and 2nd in the bowl in the 17 and over division.

We met up at FDR after the Maple Shade event to get in a Mini Ramp session before heading over the the Paines Project event at Urban Outfitters HQ where the Red Bull Mini Ramp was waiting!

So many heads out on the ramp including Mike Maldonado, Jamal Smith and the rest of the Nocturnal team, FDR locals and other Philly heads tearing into the ramp, so many sick tricks going down and some close calls!
Greg was putting down some of the most creative / original tricks and lines of the event.

Big ups to Greg for his recent success and new sponsorship acquisition! Be on the look out you will be seeing a lot more of this Greg Pachell character in the future for sure!

The Jam Series Stop #4 Philadelphia

We raised $100 and built a new box for the park!
Thanks to everyone who came out and donated to the cause, it was a really fun day and a good start!
Rodney Watkins will be heading up the Gear for GROMS summer program at this location starting July 7th starting at 5:30 -6:30.

The Jam Series Stop #3 Academy CT

Got back from a great couple of sessions at Academy Skate Park in Woodbridge CT!
We arrived the night before to set up and get our skate on in this huge park! Banks gallore, rails, boxes etc. not to mention the huge mini ramp they got in the back and their new concrete outside section which is being built as I speak to you!

The day of the event was over 90 degrees with 90% humidity, a few people entered the contest but most didn't know how long they would last in the heat, so instead we just made a skate session / demo of the event, passed out sponsors stickers, throughout some T's, passed out energy drinks and just had a good time skating with new people at a great park. I think there was close to 50 people on the day so even though it was hot people still came out to skate!

Big ups to Barry/Patrick and the crew at Academy for making us feel at home and for taking care of us for the ride home! We will be back to this park in the future for sure, stay tuned........!
